ADMISSION PROCEDURE
|
From Monday to Friday during Office hours
The admission is based on First Come First Serve Basis for the following categories of students - First Attempt Passed with 50% or above marks at XII Exam. S.C./S.T./OBC students will have a relaxation of 5% i.e. 45% - Other students will be kept on the waiting list and the final selection list will be displayed to the College Notice Board on 01-06-2010. They have to pay the fees from 01-06-2010 to 04-06-2010 to claim the seat. After that, the College will be free to allot the seat to others from the waiting list or fresh applicants based on merit.

SEMESTER I of BA, BCOM, BSC |
- In the case of student passing from Goa Board:
- The candidate has to produce the statement of marks of Std.XII Examination and collect an application form and Information Brouchers a Prospectus from the stores dept. or the students counter by paying the stipulated amount of fee (Rs.100/-).
- The candidate should read the prospectus because and / or Admission Broucher & then submit the duly completed form to the Admission Committee pasting the recently taken colour photograph along with all other required documents as soon as possible (within ten days from the date of publication of HSSC Goa Board result).
- The documents to be attached:-
- Two Self Attested Photo Copies of HSSC Leaving Certificates
- Two self attested photo copies of Std. XII Examination marks sheet/s
- Two self attested photo copies of Std. X Examination marks sheet/s
- Two self attested photo copies of Std. SSC Leaving Certificate/s.
- Two self attested copies of Caste Certificate or relevant valid document issued by the competent Authority, in case of any request for reservation.
- Attested Copies of Documents recording the break in study, if any.
* After Scrutiny, if reccommended, the candidate will be orally informed or a subsequent Reporting date will be given. The candidate, whose case is not reccommended will be kept on the waiting list and will be informed about the next date of contacting the Admission Committee or the Principal to get the status of selection. The candidate failing to get admission will be given other option/s, if available in the college.
- On positive reccommendation or selection, Immediately the candidate has to contact the Admission Committee and the Admission Section of the College with the Original HSS Leaving Certificate or the Leaving Cerificate of the Last Institution,
Original XII Statement of Mark/s,
Original X Standard Mark/s,
Original Caste Certificate or relevant valid document issued by the competent Authority, in case of any request for reservation and two more recently taken colour photographs.
Original of the Document showing the break in study, if any.
- After getting the Reccommendation of the Admission Committee and Payment note from the Admission Section, the candidate has to Meet the Principal accompanied by Parent/Legal Guardian for the allotment of seat.
- Finally, the selected candidate has to Pay the prescribed fee, at the Cash Counter or Accounts Section and obtain the receipt/s for the paid amount. The receipt should be retained by the candidate for all future references and refunds, etc.
- The students, who would like to borrow the original documents for counselling session for professional courses, have to request the same in writing with an undertaking to the effect that he/she will submit the original documents as and when asked by the college or within one month of the date of admission.
- Identity Card will be issued in due course after the college re-opens.
- Students passing Std.XII or Equivalent exam. from other than Goa Board
Follow the procedure mentioned under 1 as onwards. Besides, at the time of admission, should submit Provisional Eligibility Certificate issued by Goa University and Migration Certificate from the Board concerned.
All the above categories of students will be admitted provisionally, subject to their Enrolment/Registration with Goa University or issue of Final Eligibility Certificate by Goa University.
- Students who seek transfer form any other colleges or Institutions in Goa
The candidate has to submit N.O.C. from the former Institution. If N.O.C. is accepted by the Principal,
The candidate has to procure an Application Form and Prospectus by paying the requisite fees, Submit the duly completed form following the procedure 1 b) onwards along with the Parent / Guardian. After the final selection, a Transference Certificate will have to be received by this college from the earlier Institution/College. (A letter of selection will be given by this college, but the candidate has to pursue the case and submit in this college before paying the Fee).

SEMESTER III and V of BA, BCOM, BSC |
|
The candidate has to Procure an application form and a prospectus or Inf. Bulletin from the stores dept. or the students counter by paying the stipulated amount of fee (Rs.100/-). The student has to submit the duly completed form countersigned by the Parent/Guardian, along with self attested Photo copies of the Statement of Marks of the last examinations answered and three latest Photographs to the Admission Committee pasting the recently taken colour photograph along with all other required documents as soon as possible (within Fifteen days from the date of distribution of College result).

CONFIRMING YOUR SEAT |
After Scrutiny, if reccommended, the candidate will be orally informed or a subsequent Reporting date will be given.
The candidate failing to get admission will be given other option/s, if available in the college.

ALL ADMISSIONS ARE VALID ONLY FOR One Semester and is therefore to be renewed for each subsequent semester.
In all cases of cancellation the University enrollment fees shall be refunded in full unless the fees have been already remitted to the University.
Whenever a dispute arises either due to interpretations or genuineness of the case, the matter shall be forwarded for consideration to the University and decision of the Vice-Chancellor will be final and binding on all.
