Eligibility for Admission to First Year Classes
For F.Y.B.A., F.Y.B.Com./ F.Y.B.Sc. Course
1. Student passing Std. XIIth H.S.S.C. Examination conducted by Goa Board
of Secondary and Higher Secondary Scool Examination or equivalent Examination
conducted by other Board in the stream of Arts/Commerce/Science are eligible
for admission to F.Y.B.A./ F.Y.B.Com./ F.Y.B.Sc. respectively.
Merit list of computer Science student will be made on the basis of scores
in Physics and Mathematics.
There are only 20 seats.
2. Student passing Std. XII Figher Secondary School Certificate Examination
of Vocational Stream conducted by Goa are also eligible to join F.Y.B.A./F.Y.B.Com./F.Y.B.Sc.
course provided the subjects offered are relevent for the respectively
course.
Admission
Procedure
(From
Monday to Friday, between 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m)
(A)
TO F.Y. CLASSES
i) In the case of studentas passing Std. XIIth from Goa Board
Produce
your statement of marks of Std XIIth Examination and collect an application
form and a Propectus by paying an amount of fee at the Account Section.
Submit the duly completed form (with recently taken photograph) countersigned
by the parent/grardian, as soon as possible (within ten days from the
date of admission).
The documents to be attached :-
i) Attested Xerox copies of Std. XIIth examination marks sheet and Higher
Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
If selected, your name will be displayed on the
notice - board.
Immediatly contact the office with the statement of marks, Higher Secondary
School Leaving Certificate (both in origi nal) and two more photographs
(one for I.D. card).
Meet the Pricipal with your parent/guardian.
Pay the fees in Accounts Section.
Submit the form along with the Identity Card to the office.,
Identity card will be issued after the college reopens.
You will have to submit the H.S.S.C.E. Passing certificate along with
it’s attested xerox copies, no sooner it is issued by the Board.
In the case of student seeking admission to F.Y.B.Sc. (Comp. Sc.).
The student should submit the duly completed form by 11th June, 2003 at
or before 4.00 p.m.
A merit list will be displayed on the notice board at 3.00 p.m. on 12th
June.
The students who would be selected for admission to twenty seats (including
4seats for OBC/SC/ST ) will have to pay the fees by 4.00 p.m. of 6th June.
In the event, seats remain vacant, then additional names from the merit
list (merit wise) will be announced for the purpose of admission, on 17th
June. The interested students will have to pay the fees on the same day
at or before 4.00 p.m.
Still, if the seats remain vacant then that/those seats will be made available
to those eligible students who would have taken admission to other course
in this college.
ii) In the case of students passing Std. XIIth or equivalent examination
from Board other than Goa Board
Follow
the procedure mentioned under (i) Besides, at the time of admissiom, summit
provisional eligiblility certificate issued by the Goa University and
migration certificatefrom the Board.
All the student will be admitted provisionally, subject to their enrolment/registration
with Goa University or issue of Final Eligibility Certificate by the Goa
University.
iii) In the case of students who seek transfer from the other colleges
in Goa
Submit N.O.C. from the college where you were studying ear lier If N.O.C.
is accepted by the Principal, then follow this :
Acquire prospectus and application form by paying a certain fee. Submit
the duly completed form countersigned by the par ent/guardian along with
attested xerox copy of the statement of marks of the last examination
answered.
Meet the Principal with your parent/guardian.
Pay the fees and submit the form to the office.
Transference Certificate will have to be received by this col lege from
ypur earlier college (letter will be sent by this col lege, but you will
have to pursue the case).
B)
TO S.Y. AND T.Y. CLASSES
Procure an application form and a propectectus after paying a certain
fee. Submit the duly completed form, countersigned by the parent/guardian,
along with one attested xerox copy of the statement of marks of the last
examination answered and three latest photographs.
Meet the Principal with the parent/guardian.
Pay the fees and submit the form to the office.
ALL ADMISSION ARE VALID ONLY FOR ONE YEAR and are therefore to
be renewed for each subsequent academic year.
